Paul F. Schuster ‘89 ([email protected]) remembers the day that he decided to join SAE. “It had such a friendly and fun brotherhood,” he said.
“We had all different types of personalities and experiences. We did not fit into any stereotype.”
One of the memories that stands out for him is of “The Paddy Murphy procession down Locust Walk with a coffin.”
Schuster says that SAE has impacted him long after graduation. “I have stayed friends with the brothers. I lived with Chris Viadro ‘89 and Tim Ballard ‘89 in San Francisco for a year after law school. The 50th Birthday celebration in Chicago for Lee Shavel ‘89 was awesome.”
He says that giving back to the chapter is important to him. “I want others to experience the same camaraderie and support that I received.”
Without Sigma Alpha Epsilon, I wouldn’t have most of my most entertaining and outrageous stories.
