On Friday, November 7, 2025, Brothers Ken Athaide `84, Bill Lohr `85, and Steve Saltzman `85 attended the Penn Men’s basketball opening game at the Palestra where Penn, under new head coach Fran McCaffery `82 (known during his playing days as “White Magic”), trounced Rowan University 119-72.
On Saturday, November 8th Penn Theta alumni (Ken Athaide `84, Bill Lohr `85, Steve Saltzman `85, and Mike Eckels `87) and two siblings of Brother Kenneth Andrew Brunetti `86 attended a Memorial Mass at the Neumann Center on Penn’s campus to commemorate the life of Brother Brunetti who passed away April 26, 2025.
After Mass, the alumni and siblings retired to the White Dog Café to celebrate Ken’s memory over brunch.
Finally, alumni and siblings remembered Brother Brunetti at the Chapter House. Both alumni and siblings shared their memories of Ken during the SAE Memorial Service (admittedly, some recollections were NSFW).
